Pursuant to the obligations set forth in the Law no 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (LPPD), this informative statement has been prepared with regard to the types of cookies we use on our website (www.erkurtholding.com.tr), why such cookies are being used and the management of such cookies.

We are disclosing the cookies being used in order to provide a functional on-line environment for visitors and a better service to those visiting our website, as well as explaining how personal data obtained in line with the LPPD will be processed and listing  the legal rights and powers held by users.

As can be surmised from the name, first party cookies are placed onto the device directly by the website being visited.

User’s Right to Access Data and Make Requests

According to the rights and powers granted to them under the LPPD, users are entitled to submit requests to ERKURT HOLDİNG A.Ş. in order to:

•           learn whether or not their personal data is being processed,

•           request information in relation to any personal data that has in fact been processed,

•           learn the purpose for which their personal data is being processed and whether or not these are being used in line with such purpose,

•           identify the third persons to whom their personal data is being transferred either domestically or abroad,

•           request correction/rectification if the personal data being processed is erroneous or incomplete,

•           request the erasure or destruction of their personal data within the framework of the conditions set forth in the relevant legislation,

•           request that the correction/rectification, erasure or destruction of personal data carried out in line with the relevant legislation be notified to third persons to whom such personal data had been transmitted,

•           object to any result achieved contrary to their interests when the personal data has been analyzed exclusively by automated systems,

•           request indemnification of damages if they suffer harm as a result of the unlawful processing of their personal data.

In accordance with the LPPD, data subjects (users) may submit their requests with regard to their above listed rights to ERKURT HOLDİNG A.Ş. by filling out the application form. Pursuant to the second paragraph of article 13 of the LPPD, depending on the nature of the request, applications will be responded to within thirty days of being received by the Personal Data Protection Board. However, in the event that the action requires any additional costs, ERKURT HOLDİNG A.Ş. may request such additional costs based on the rates specified by the board. According to the LPPD, ERKURT HOLDİNG A.Ş. may agree to the request or deny the request by explaining its reasons for such denial and shall notify the person concerned of its decision either electronically or in writing. If the request made in the application is agreed to, ERKURT HOLDİNG A.Ş. will take any action as may be necessary. Pursuant to the LPPD, if the application was submitted as a result of fault on part of the data controller, the fees must be returned to the person concerned. The user warrants that the information s/he has provided ERKURT HOLDİNG A.Ş. is complete, correct and up-to-date. All liability in circumstances contrary to this warranty lies with the user/visitor and ERKURT HOLDİNG A.Ş. shall not be held liable in any way whatsoever.
